With Paris being one of the closest transatlantic gateways, Air France’s business-class product was near the top of my list, especially since its 777-300ERs now feature an updated 1-2-1 reverse-herringbone product in business. As you can imagine, Air France business-class tickets don’t come cheap. With one-way flights regularly. Boeing 777-200 seat map - 316 seats. The first 777-300ER was delivered to Air France on April 29, 2004. The 777-300ER is the best-selling 777 variant, having surpassed the 777-200ER in orders in 2010 and deliveries in 2013. As of March 2016, 777-300ER deliveries to 39 different customers totaled 635, with 165 unfilled orders.
On March 25, 2018, we photographed F-GSQP while the Air France Boeing 777-300ER was on final approach to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). This is one of 43 B77W aircraft in the Air France fleet and the airline is the launch customer for this particular variant of aircraft. Images in the gallery below were captured with a Canon Rebel T6i DSLR camera.
It is a subsidiary of the Air France–KLM Group and a founding member of the SkyTeam global airline alliance. As of 2013 Air France serves 36 destinations in France and operates worldwide scheduled passenger and cargo services to 175 destinations in 78 countries and also carried 46,803,000 passengers in 2019.

F-GSQP
F-GSQP performed its maiden flight on June 23, 2006 and the Boeing 777-328ER was delivered to Air France on June 30, 2006. As mentioned, Air France was the launch customer for the Boeing 777-300ER model and they now have 43 in their main fleet. The airliner is configured for a maximum total of 468 passengers with 14 seats in business class, 32 more in premium economy and 422 economy class seats.
Back on December 12, 2007, when F-GSQP was not even six months old, the Boeing 777-300ER was flying from Paris Orly to La Reunion. Along the way, the B77W had to divert to Rome, Italy after one of the engines failed. At the time, it was the third Boeing 777 engine failure in a matter of months for the airline.

Boeing 777-300ER
The Boeing 777-300ER was first delivered to launch customer Air France in 2004, nearly a decade after the initial 777 variant was introduced with United Airlines in 1995. The ER is for ‘extended range’ and this aircraft can fly a lofty 13,650 kilometres between stops.
The B77W is 74 metres or 242 feet in length with a wingspan of 65 metres or 213 feet. At the tail, the airliner is 19 metres or 61 feet in height. Though not the most glamorous of the big airplanes, the Boeing 777-300ER is longer than both the Boeing 747-400 (by 10 feet) and Airbus A380-800 (by 3 feet).
Air France
Founded in 1933, Air France is headquartered on the grounds of Charles de Gaulle Airport in Tremblay-en-France. In 2003, the French airline merged with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Air France has a main fleet of nearly 225 airliners flying to over 200 destinations around the world. The fleet is led by the Airbus A380-800. They are the largest operator of the Airbus A318-100 and are the launch customer of the Boeing 777-300ER.
Air France is a founding member of the SkyTeam Alliance. Other founding members include AeroMexico, Delta Air Lines and Korean Air. The alliance was founded in 2000, has 20 full members and is headquartered at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in Haarlemmermeer, Netherlands.
